About
I’m a multidisciplinary strategist, designer, and researcher with a background spanning product design and development, cultural strategy, and communications. I’ve spent over ten years working with companies and organizations across various industries and sizes on projects ranging from generative research to product design. My experience includes emerging technology, responsible innovation, AI, AR/VR/MR, Web 3, cultural strategy, youth & Gen Z, SaaS, healthcare, education, climate, entertainment, equity, retail, marketing, experiential design, and events.
I take a strategic and systemic approach to design and research grounded in developing a deep understanding of people's purpose and problem spaces and integrating broader societal shifts and business factors to expand the range of opportunities for products, services, and interventions we consider. I enjoy practice-building, continuing education, and experimenting with new techniques or approaches on each project.
Most recently, I’ve worked in design strategy and research for clients – including NBCUniversal, Omidyar Network, Meta, and Gates Ventures – focused on responsible innovation, emerging technologies, systems change, equity, and cultural strategy. While at Concentrix, I led projects in product design, design strategy, and research; managed design teams and cross-functional collaboration; co-led our Innovation Studio; and co-founded our Design Research Operations community of practice. As a freelancer, I’ve developed products and led research for startups and enterprise companies, created digital and experiential marketing campaigns and events at Fast Company, and worked in communication and social media for the ASPCA.
I’ve held leadership and volunteer positions with the Design Futures Initiative, AIGA Seattle, and IXDA Seattle and was the co-host and production manager for z\topia, a futures design podcast. I'm also a former competitive fixed-gear cyclist who co-founded New York's first women’s & non-binary fixed-gear racing team and managed the creative direction, media, community events, and logistics for an international women’s crit racing team.
Outside of work, I am usually taking a class or workshop to learn something new, going to art and music shows, making art, traveling to music festivals, or planning my next camper van trip.
